Hi, I’m Emma! I’m your typical twenty-six year old – just living my life a little differently nowadays. In 2012 I was in a single car rollover accident – I broke my neck, which left me paralyzed from the chest down.

While my accident plays a big part in my story it doesn’t make me who I am today. This is what does… I love Jesus, the Old Spaghetti Factory, brownies, the Seahawks, board games, Nike shoes, Jeep Wranglers, road trips, country music, sunshine, margaritas, and spending time with my sweet husband, closest friends, loud family, and Schnoodle, Charlie.

I recently became a Loan Officer at Capstone Home Loans, and at the same time I’m opening a gym for people with paralysis, looking for houses to flip, and trying to make time for my rehab. Needless to say my life is unbelievably busy, but when I do have free time you can find me peer mentoring people with recent spinal cord injuries, going to concerts or amusement parks, binge watching TV shows on Netflix, floating down rivers, or traveling. I’m always up for an adventure – I love being spontaneous and making memories. Today my life is abundant and full of joy.
